Day 10
15/8/2010
It was a glorious sunny day in Fremantle today; we drove into Fremantle parked at the marina and walked through the city. Fremantle is very a cosmopolitan environment, café’s and restaurants on each corner, hotels in between, markets selling everything from ice cream, fruit and veg to things that are questionably legal.
There are so many boats in the marina that there is not enough room on the water to moor all of them, boats are stored in yards 3 decks high and 5 to 10 boats long. Berthed at the main wharf adjacent the main street was the cruise a ship Princess Sun, I had seen this ship previously at Outer Harbour earlier in the year, it is huge.
Before returning to the van we went to for a drive to find the hospital where Mary will have the baby, it’s not too far away and will take only a few minutes to get there.
Catch you tomorrow
